Bagels!

Happy Friday!

I wish I could be more excited that it’s the weekend but I have a ton of work to do.  However, tonight is the Grad Prom Ball!  I have a ridiculous bright yellow dress!  (Pictures to come)

Let’s back track to last night… After an intense class, I needed to bake.  Thus, Bagels…

2 kinds: Multi-grain and Cinnamon Raisin

For the multi-grain bagels, I used this recipe. For the cinnamon raisin bagels, I used my go to bagel recipe but added about a tablespoon of cinnamon and a box of raisins.

The cinnamon raisin looked prettier:

But the Multi-grain tasted amazing!

It is my mission to perfect these multi-grain bagels!  You may see them again in the near future!

I should probably go get ready… Have a great night!!

This there a recipe you’re trying to perfect? I will conquer these bagels!

I LOVE bagels but have never tried to make them from scratch. Some things are better left to the pros… unless you can suggest a fool-proof recipe. 😉

You made those? Seriously? They look like they’re from a bagel shop. I could never try a recipe like that since I would be in hog heaven and would need an intervention!

Have fun tonight, can’t wait to see said yellow dress!

Bagels are delicious and I never thought of making them at HOME! I’m trying to perfect a cheesecake recipe of mine but screw it, how can you go wrong with any type of cheesecake?

Oh my goodness, bagels. I constantly realize that foods in the grocery stores were made by humans, so as a human, I can make them too if I wanted to. I made pumpkin bagels a while back, and I want to make your multigrain and cinnamon raisin too ’cause they look good.

I read your post on the KFC burgers, but I don’t think you mentioned your opinion on them–do you like them? It’s too bad that Canada doesn’t have the option of trying them just yet, but I’m unsure about whether I would have taken the chance even if I could ;] Probably would just to see what it tasted like. Yummy?

I actually didn’t try it, since I don’t eat meat. However, my friends all agreed that it was tasty but intense in the sense that it is a lot of food even though it doesn’t necessarily look like it. If I ate meat, I’d probably try it. Maybe someday?

Those bagels look awesome!! I just bought a sack of bread flour yesterday with the intention of making bagels. What a coinky-dinky. 😀 It’s cold and rainy here in upstate, so it’s perfect for baking. I’d love to perfect any and all bread recipes that I try lol. Making homemade bread is tough!!

THIS! This was one of the posts I read on Saturday, when I had to be super-duper quiet in a room full of test-takers. I was DYING to reply at the time, and then completely forgot by the time I actually could. And then randomly thought of it this morning.
Mini-novel aside, THESE BAGELS LOOK AMAZING and I give you huge props. Seriously, bagels?! bread will be no problem for you, I can tell. I mean, if your bagels turn out this gorgeous? Don’t knock the multi-grain – they’re still beautiful and I believe you when you say they taste great 🙂
