Did you know: Ice cream sundaes were invented in Ithaca, NY!
In honor of that, and the fact that my friend Sara quit her waitressing job, a few of us took a study/paper-writing break and went to Purity Ice Cream!
This place is like the ultimate sweet shop!
They also had Legos to play with! So we reverted to 3 year old status…
Sara and I shared a Brownie Sundae with Goose Traks and Bulldog Crunch! Mmm delicious!
Obviously we hated it…
On to a long night of paper writing! Wish me luck!
So. JEALOUS! I can’t remember the last time I had a brownie sundae. Or played with LEGOS!!!!!!!!!
I had been forever for me too! You should hit up a local ice cream shop too and enjoy!
Good luck with your papers! Ice cream seems like the perfect way to fuel through lots of work. 🙂
Yummmmm! Good luck with your paper! You might even be done with it as I’m posting this comment!
I love going out for ice cream 🙂 Even when it’s cold out, it’s still such a treat.
Ooooo I had no idea about that fact! Great to know. And it looks like great ice cream too!
I love your previous post on Guatemala. I REALLY REALLY want to go to Central/South America/anywhere!! Have you traveled mostly through personal means – family – work – school? I’m always interested in how people travel around.
I’ve traveled a variety of ways. When I was little my family went to Guatemala every year for about a month since our entire family lives there (minus one aunt and us). Then as I got older, my parents really like to travel so I went a few places with them. Then one time I volunteered abroad for a few months, then I studied abroad, then I worked with a student group on a emergency medical health care project. So basically, name a way and I’ve probably traveled that way haha! Let me know if you want to chat about this more! We can e-mail!
I would love to chat/email about it! I think you have my email right?! 🙂
